Back when that mission statement was authored, few among us would have predicted the challenges we face today and the uncertainty of tomorrow. As Yogi Berra observed, “The future ain’t what it used to be.”
However, the ideals of our purpose, our role as stewards, and our acceptance of the public trust have not changed. In this period of rapid and complex change, we face and will likely continue to face, many challenges.


Here are some highlights-.

Upcoming Community Forums-Student Success in the 21st Century: Shaping Our Priorities -
The Board of Directors hosted three forums on successive Tuesday evenings in December to hear from the larger community about its priorities for educating our children for success in this new century. These forums will help the Board establish a foundation for the budget work ahead. The Budget Situation- You have undoubtedly read in the paper of the loss of subsidy to school districts in this fiscal year as a result of the loss of State revenue. We are establishing guidelines for the spending authorization of unspent dollars, with an eye to need, fairness and program fidelity. Read more...

Paid for by the Anthem Foundation and the MEA Benefits Trust, the Pilot will provide every District staff member who has insurance through us with a health risk assessment and health coach. Trust for Our Future: M.S.A.D. No. 75 Education Fund has recently awarded four “mini” grants totaling $4,185.  The mini-grant program was established to provide resources for innovative learning projects within the District. Read more....
